Drama Director SunilRenowned stage drama director Sunil Chandrasiri suddenly passed away.

Mr. Sunil Chandrasiri entered stage drama through Jayalath Manorathne’s ‘Puthra Samagama’ and directed ‘Ginidandu Sevana’, Bheema Bhumi’, ‘Nishbdvenu’, Samavenna Varadeemak’, ‘Don Juan’, ‘Mayadevi’ and ‘Jana Mithuro’.
The last drama he directed ‘Adaraneeya Sanvadayak’ won the best direction and best production awards at the National Drama Festival and his ‘Sindu Kirillee’ won the award for best translation.
